I enjoy shooting food, a totally different experience from shooting events. When shooting an event, you generally have to work with the light you are presented with whether that is outdoor or indoor lighting. When shooting food, I have the option to use natural light (be at the mercy of the Gods) or I can have total control by using flash. By using modifiers, I can change the quality of the light, from hard to a more soft diffused lighting.

Together with props and different colour backgrounds, I can change the feel of the shot. To date, I have mostly worked with JustEat and UberEats providing food imagery and hero shots for their mobiles apps.
