About

Siobhan Taylor

I provide professional event client services for corporate, conferences, meetings, awards, brand activations, parties, concerts and festivals. I am based in Dublin but will travel country wide for assignments.

What drew me to photography was back in 2008 when I took photos of a band called DC Tempest in the Village, Dublin.  I’ll never forget that excitement and the blood rush to the head trying to capture photos in the flashing lights.  I spent a year or so photographing indie bands and acts.  This culminated in my photos of the Republic of Loose being  featured in the book by 2FM’s leading DJ Jenny Huston “In Bloom – Irish Bands Now”.

In tandem with this, I started to work on a freelance basis with a few local newspapers, mainly the Fingal Independent.  With newspaper work, there is plenty of variety, from community events, political events, parties, family celebrations, local stories and sports.  From there, it was a natural progression to start my own business as an Event Photographer.

I love interacting with people and I feel  I have an easy going, friendly approach to photographing events. No two events are the same and I enjoy the challenge of capturing eye catching images for your brand and business.  Capturing an event is basically story telling,  I aim to provide photos that encapsulate that and capture the emotion, mood and highlights of the day.

During the last year, I up-skilled  and completed a AV Technology in Streaming of a Live Performance course (Certificate level 6, QQI) in Pulse College, Dublin.  It was great to able to take advantage of the facilities that Windmill Studios offers.
